Mark was always interested in art right from an early age. After having attended Art College, he decided he favoured print-making and opened up a print-making studio in Kent, where he spent many years developing his etching and collagraph techniques.

However, as time went on he felt the need to develop other forms of imagery from abstract to figurative. He is constantly experimenting with different subjects and techniques, which he then applies to a variety of images. Although this was new to him he thoroughly enjoyed and embraced the new challenge. His collagraphes, etchings and paintings have been exhibited at the 20th Century British Art fair as well as other works being shown at the Chelsea and Hampton Court Show, and the Barbican Contemporary Print Fair.

His Figurative work was first published some ten years ago. This range of work is constantly involving and he enjoys the challenge of expanding ideas based on the female form. Movement is a key to many of his pieces as well as form, texture and colour. This is something he feels he will be able to work on and progress with, evolving and perfecting.
