Trew Art Gallery Customer Returns & Refunds Policy
1. Introduction
This Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which Trew Art ("the Gallery") accepts returns of goods purchased by customers ("the Customer"). By purchasing from the Gallery, the Customer agrees to comply with this policy.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Non-Conforming Goods: Goods that do not conform to the specifications, quality, or description as per the purchase agreement.
Damaged Goods: Goods that are damaged upon receipt.
Defective Goods: Goods that are found to be defective within 3 (three) days of receipt.
Change of Mind: Returns for change of mind are a reason to be discussed with Trew Art and in any case or reason the goods must be in original, saleable condition.
3. Return Process
Notification: The Customer must notify the Gallery of their intention to return goods within 3 (three) days of receipt. Notification must include a description of the issue and any supporting documentation or evidence (e.g., photographs).
Return Authorization: The Gallery will provide return authorization and instructions within 5 (five) days of receiving the notification from the Customer.
Return Shipping: The Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are non-conforming, damaged, or defective. The Gallery will provide a return shipping label if applicable.
4. Condition of Returned Goods
Packaging: Returned goods must be in their original packaging or equivalent to ensure safe transit.
Condition: Goods must be returned in the condition they were received, with all original tags, labels, and accessories.
5. Inspection and Acceptance of Returns
Inspection: Upon receipt of the returned goods, the Gallery will inspect them to verify the reported issues.
Acceptance: If the Gallery verifies the issues, the return will be accepted, and the Gallery will proceed with the refund or replacement as outlined in this policy.
6. Refunds and Replacements
Refunds: The Gallery will issue a refund for the returned goods within 7 (seven) days of accepting the return. Refunds will be made in the original payment method and currency.
Replacements: The Gallery may offer to replace the returned goods with conforming, non-defective items. Replacements must be shipped within 7 (seven) days of accepting the return.
7. Exceptions
Custom Orders: Custom or personalized goods are generally not eligible for returns unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.
Final Sale Items: Goods marked as final sale are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
8. Liability
Inspection: The Customer is responsible for inspecting goods upon receipt and notifying the Gallery of any issues within the specified timeframe.
Return Costs: The Customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning goods, except for cases where the goods are non-conforming, damaged, or defective.
9. Governing Law
This Returns Policy will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UK. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of UK
